Caring Bridge

Caring Bridge is a website that follows and documents the progress of patients. Mostly those with cancer or other serious health events. I followed Caring Bridge daily when my friend Melissa was being treated in Houston. Since her family,as well as me, were located in Atlanta, we could visit the website daily to see photographs or information on daily events. This is a free website and I plan to donate the money from my first fundraiser to Caring Bridge. My friend Gwen is a trainer for the young lady above. She has been working with her for quite some time and they have made significant progress. They discovered that Madison had a tumor in 2007, today she is cancer free.

Dita Von Teese

I love Dita Von Teese. I know she is a wild and naughty woman, but when she dresses like a lady she amazes me everytime. She reminds me of a modern day Marilyn Monroe. She is not a size zero, she has curves. You do not see that as much these days. I can forgive her for hooking up with that freak of nature (Marilyn Manson) and for dancing around naked if she can just show up on a red carpet in one of her amazing dresses with her perfect hair. Do what you do girl!

Twila MoonDream

Twila is my brain child. She came about during one of my morning walks with crazy dog. Twila is an acronym for The Women's Interests Likely Align. I wanted to have a facebook page where women could come to discuss food, wine, coffee, babies, hobbies, art, etc. I would eventually like to create an organization where we can raise money for various causes. I have many plans for Twila and I hope everyone jumps on board to bring new ideas and share Twila with your girlfriends.

The Village Corner German Bakery

You can find the greatest food in the most unexpected places. This restaurant in located In Stone Mountain. They make their own baked goods including homemade bread. They also have a fantastic dinner menu with great presentation.

San Fran Donuts.

Counting sheep.

Counting sheep, but not for sleep. Counting sheep, watch how they leap. Counting sheep as the time creeps. Counting sheep as I weep and weep. Counting the sheep as summer meets fall. Counting sheep til there are none left at all. Counting sheep as they whisk cross the sky, counting sheep wondering why? Counting sheep by the herd and one sheep alone, counting sheep til the day is gone. Counting the sheep as they come and go, counting the sheep both fast and slow. Reverie.

I once was a dreamer, a dreamer of dreams. I once thought I knew it all, all of what life means. I dreamt and I dreamt but my dreams got too fat, they grew and grew til they burst and went flat. The dreams of the soul may flee for a while, but will return when you search for and find your smile. The dreams only survive because of love in your heart, without love they have not a single place to start. So dreamer find love and take hold of your smile, because we dreamers are here for only a little while.
